Student Art Show in TorC

For the second year the Sierra County Arts Council and The Center Gallery Fine Art will be showcasing the artwork of area students at the second annual Student Art Show. 

This 2-day event at the TorC Civic Center in the Ralph Edwards Auditorium (400 W. 4th St.) starts with an evening preview on Friday, April 21 from 5 to 7:30 pm. 

On Saturday the doors open at 8 am. The judging and a discussion of Middle School artwork will take place from 8:30 to 10 am. High School artwork judging and discussion will happen from 9:30 to 11 am. A panel of 6 judges for each age group consists of TorC art community professionals including working artists and gallery owners. Awards will be presented between noon and 1 pm.

Artwork will be on display for viewing from 1 to 5 pm and doors close at 8 pm.
