An afternoon of music

The Hillsboro Community Center is pleased to offer a concert of Scandinavian/Celtic music and fundraiser for the purchase of an AED for the community center.  This benefit concert is on Saturday March 18th from 2-4.

Scott and Johanna Hongell-Darsee appear through a grant from the NM Humanities Council.  The afternoon will feature Scott and Johanna performing early traditional Scandinavian/Celtic ballads and tales.  Their performances have been described as magical, inspiring, haunting, and mesmerizing.

The concert is free however HCC will have a donation jar available to receive funds to purchase an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for the center.  An AED is a medical device used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.

Come on up to the Hillsboro Community Center at 158 Elenora Street, enjoy some music and help out the community.
