Live music coming to Hillsboro

On Saturday January 6, Wil Maring and Robert Bowlin will be performing at the Hillsboro Community Center. Award winning singer-songwriter Wil Maring and virtuoso guitarist/fiddler Robert Bowlin will be on stage at 3:30 p.m. Their acoustic Americana style blends bluegrass, folk, country, blues, and jazz, including familiar standards and original songs. Hailing from Cobden, IL, they performed recently in Sierra County at Pickamania 2023.

Wil has toured world-wide, across the U.S., Europe and Japan, and Robert was the fiddle player in the Bill Monroe Bluegrass Band, and was awarded the top prize at the Winfield, Kansas national guitar finger-picking contest. He continues to excel as a Nashville studio musician. www.wilmaring.com   The HCC is located at 316 Elenora St., Hillsboro, NM. The suggested donation is $15 Adults, $10 Students, children free.
