“Public blind to money flowing to lawmakers as session kicks off”

Who gave money to New Mexico lawmakers in the run-up to the 2024 legislative session, in which they will determine how to allocate a $10 billion budget? Who knows? That’s because lawmakers aren’t required to file a public report in January about campaign contributions they received in the previous quarter.
