  1. I’m surprised the feds haven’t taken him to court–the Securities and Exchange Commission–just private investors. Is our government keeping us safe from mountebanks and unsafe spacecraft? Why wasn’t a public report issued by the Federal Aviation Administration after it investigated the July flight? Corporatocracy? Investors are probably the only ones who can sue, since passengers sign waivers for all but gross negligence. I think New Mexico’s private astronaut waiver legislation was passed around 2010 and then renewed around 2020.

  2. All of Kathleen Sloan’s comment are relevant and pertinent. But, the question at hand is “Why does Sierra County continue to pay to support the Spacepork?” The county commission should pursue abrogating the indenture and deposit our assessment until the state can ratify the county that the Spacepork could ever be solvent and a financial benefit to the county. We are too poor to pour our money down a hole in the desert!
