Fundraiser for Kingston Ghost Town Museum

The Kingston Ghost Town Museum in Kingston  portrays the early history of Kingston through rare photos, documents and artifacts. It will be hosting a special exhibit featuring the photography of Kingston’s early photographer Joseph, C. Burge.

 

The museum features artifacts on the history of the area with room displays like this.

The public is invited to help the museum celebrate the anniversary of the museum’s opening one year ago. According to Museum Director Barb Lovell, the photo exhibit showcases a selection of rare photos along with some early glass plates. Beyond that, the exhibit will include other early Kingston photos by several other local photographers.

The Kingston Ghost Town Museum is located at 28 Kingston Main Street

The special exhibit takes place Saturday May 3rd from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday May 4th from Noon to 4 p.m. Music and refreshments will be available. The Kingston Ghost Town Museum is a non-profit entity and would appreciate your support.
