Joe Britton will present a talk sponsored by the Hillsboro Historical Society on Saturday, August 3rd at 4pm in the HCC auditorium. “El Refugio”, Victor Sasson’s Hillsboro retreat was built in 1941. Mr. Sasson was known as,”Playboy of the Eastern World” and was at the time, the world’s richest bachelor. The house is known today as Maree Westland’s Enchanted Villa B&B and home.
The Hillsboro Historical Society owns and manages the Black Range Museum and the old Sierra County Courthouse and Jail Site in Hillsboro, New Mexico.
