“Letter laced with chemical sent to advocacy group”

Law enforcement authorities are investigating an anonymous letter containing a chemical substance (ultimately determined to be harmless) and antisemitic symbols sent last week to the office of an environmental advocacy group. The letter also targeted the state Democratic party and a Democratic state legislator.

This sickens me! I know MOST Republicans are not involved with the horrid attacks on the (small ‘d’) democratic system or the (large ‘D’) Democratic candidates but I’m also not seeing any significant backlash against these attacks! This country and the ‘way of life’, meaning a sort of ‘live and let live’ arrangement between neighbors, which has been the hallmark of living in these sort of united states of America seems to have been sacrificed on the altar of Donald Trump and a neo-christian Supreme Court. We seem to have come to an end of a ‘go along to get along’ period of cooperation for the common good. Do Republicans REALLY want the sort of ‘sameness’ demanded by the Nazi regimes of the 1930’s? Does anyone want a free-for-all, winner-take-all combat between/against catholics, jews, muslims, protestants, straights, queers, whites, blacks, asians, indigenous, immigrants, pagans, middle class, upper class, lower class, urban, rural and suburbans? Who’s gonna be left after those battles have been won or lost? Will it matter after all that? The planet is toasting, economies are clinging or sinking, nations are bombing each other and we’re picking fights with our neighbors and sending fake poisoned letters to folks who want to try to make life better. WTF!?!!? It’s time to be human-e Earthings!!
