“The Safeguard Tribal Objects of Patrimony (STOP) Act has NM Roots”

On the evening before the beginning of the White House Tribal Nations Summit on November 30, 2022, the U.S. Senate passed U.S. House Bill 2930, the STOP Act of 2021. The law prevents the export of Native American cultural heritage to prevent these items from being sold overseas.
