“Virgin Galactic selects Aurora Flight Sciences to build new motherships”

However, the first plane is not expected to enter service until 2025.
Sierra County must divest itself from any obligation to service the long term revenue bond for this boondoggle! Spacepork has been a drag on our finances from the outset. It was pure fantasy that workers, passengers, media, regulators, or staff at the facility would live and spend in our county rather than Dona Ana. Other than a few “Ricos” in Sierra county, non-one has materially benefited from this so-called investment except officials holders who have enjoyed an ego boost from the outset.
Spaceport/Virgin Galactic was a sole source endeavor with no critical review of the plausibility of success or failure of creating jobs. We need to stop funding this pie in the sky ill thought out project.
Like a person with no self identity, we look outside of ourselves for a savior rather than realizing it is under our feet and flowing past. I am not sure which is worse, the stupidity, arrogance or self righteousness.
