“Biden administration announces new rule to protect workers from heat-related illnesses”

The proposed rule, which is under review by the Federal Register (the official journal of the federal government) would require employers to monitor outdoor workers’ heat exposure, provide cool-down areas and take mandatory cool-down breaks in response to extreme temperatures.
