“Trump indictment includes efforts to overturn NM election results”

Yesterday’s indictment filed in federal court in Washington, D.C., says that, in the aftermath of his losing 2020 presidential bid, Trump “pursued unlawful means of discounting legitimate votes and subverting election results.” As part of the scheme, the indictment says that the former president and “co-conspirators organized fraudulent slates of electors in seven targeted states,” including New Mexico.
