The latest Mexican wolf population count by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Arizona Game and Fish Department and New Mexico Department of Game and Fish showed the seventh consecutive year of population growth, with the pack size of this subspecies of gray wolf more than doubling since 2017.
