“Judge removes Griffin from office for engaging in the January 6 insurrection”

New Mexico District Judge Francis J. Mathew ordered Otero County Commissioner Couy Griffin be removed from office, effective immediately, ruling that the attack on the Capitol was an insurrection and that Griffin’s participation in it disqualified him under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

  1. The problem is that this will give him more time to run around waving his arms and yelling about how THE BIG LIE is actually true- too bad they couldn’t make him keep duct tape
