TorC MainStreet Clean-up Event

TorC MainStreet is once again spearheading the downtown clean-up campaign — scheduled for Saturday January 25th. This clean-up is part of their Clean & Beautiful grant, and they’ll also be introducing the next round of trash can artists and “revealing” their newly painted cans. This program is in collaboration with the City of TorC, the TorC Sanitation Department, and The TorC Litter Pickers.

Anyone interested in participating is asked to meet at 9 am at Healing Waters Plaza for trash can intros and a safety/informational briefing. Then litter pickers and trash bags will be distributed, and folks will spread out and clean all over downtown.

Participants will meet back at 11:15 to see how much trash was collected and pull winners from the raffle. Past clean-ups have awarded prizes for such things as “most trash collected” and “weirdest piece of trash” etc.

Bags and litter pickers will be provided. All you need to do is show up.
