Join the Tree-planting day offered through “Tree NM”

About this project: Tree NM is based in Albuquerque. Since the organization was founded in 1990, they’ve planted 1.25 million trees. The success rate of said trees is 80-85%. They received a grant through the USFS Inflation Reduction Act to do statewide tree plantings over the next 5 years. So, we’re hoping that this planting goes well, so that we can do more here in the future.

For this planting, we will be planting 60-(15 gallon) trees, & also receiving 60- (5 gallon trees) to give to local volunteers & residents. There is no cost to the tree adopters, though they will have to agree to care for the tree. We dig the holes, we plant the trees. The only obligation of the adopter is to water.

Right now we are gathering information of those who would like to volunteer for this & future events. We also would like with at least one local business to feed & hydrate our amazing volunteers.

Volunteer! Sign up for specific events for T or C.
